Permanent Brick Stain Solution

Our brick staining product combines 80 to 100 mesh mineral oxide pigments, a proprietary bonding agent and an environmentally safe carrier to create a slurry that absorbs into the structure of the brick and permanently bonds with the clay substrate.

Once applied, the brick stain chemically attaches to the masonry pores. Because the oxide's molecules are smaller than the pores, the don't seal in moisture or clog the masonry pores. These physical properties render the brick stain permanent while not altering the pore structure, therefor the durability of the brick.

Once dried, the stained brick does not seal the brick, leave a film, fade, peel or crack. Our product bonds well with any masonry product that has absorption: brick, block, mortar, manufactured stone, natural stone, cast stone and limestone, to name a few

There are several compelling reasons why you might want to change the color of your masonry through staining. Whether you're looking to enhance the appearance of your property, increase its value, or restore its original beauty, masonry staining is an effective and versatile solution. Here are some of the top reasons to consider changing the color of your masonry:

1. Aesthetic Enhancement

The primary reason most people choose to stain their masonry is to improve its appearance. Over time, brick, stone, and concrete can become dull, faded, or stained from exposure to the elements. Staining allows you to completely transform the look of your masonry surfaces, giving them a fresh and updated appearance. Whether you want to brighten up your home or add a more dramatic effect, staining offers an opportunity to customize the look of your property to suit your style.

2. Restoring Faded or Weathered Surfaces

Masonry surfaces such as brick, stone, and concrete can fade or discolor over time due to exposure to the sun, rain, wind, and other environmental factors. Over the years, the natural colors of masonry can become less vibrant, and stains or discolorations can appear. Staining is an ideal way to restore the original beauty of your masonry and bring back its rich, vibrant tones. Stains can also be used to mask unsightly blemishes, discoloration, or damage caused by weathering.

3. Curb Appeal and Property Value

Changing the color of your masonry with a professional stain can dramatically increase your home's curb appeal. The exterior of your property is the first thing people see, and making sure it has a visually appealing and modern look can leave a lasting impression. A well-chosen stain color can complement your landscaping, architectural style, and even the surrounding neighborhood. Whether you're planning to sell your home or simply want to refresh its look, a new stain can improve your property's value by making it more attractive and up-to-date.

4. Personalization and Customization

Staining offers a high level of customization. With a variety of colors and finishes to choose from, you can match the stain to your unique style or design vision. You may choose a color that complements your landscaping, the paint color of your house, or even the exterior elements such as windows, doors, and roofing. Staining allows you to express your personality and create a distinctive look for your home that stands out from others in the neighborhood.

5. Durability and Protection

While staining is often associated with aesthetics, it also provides protection for masonry surfaces. A quality stain can help seal porous materials, making them more resistant to water penetration, mold, mildew, and other forms of damage. This added layer of protection can prolong the lifespan of your masonry and keep it looking fresh for years. Additionally, certain stains are designed to resist fading, which ensures that your masonry will maintain its color and vibrancy over time.

6. Maintenance and Easy Cleaning

Masonry surfaces are often porous, which means they can absorb dirt, grime, and pollutants over time. This can result in unsightly stains and make the masonry harder to clean. Staining can seal the surface and reduce the amount of dirt and moisture absorbed, making it easier to clean and maintain. A stained surface is less likely to attract mold or mildew, making it a more hygienic choice for many property owners. Staining can also make the cleaning process faster and less intensive by creating a smoother surface that resists staining agents.

7. Cost-Effective Alternative to Replacement

Sometimes, the idea of replacing old or damaged masonry surfaces may seem like the only option. However, staining provides a more affordable alternative. Rather than tearing out and replacing brick, stone, or concrete, you can achieve a significant aesthetic transformation at a fraction of the cost. Staining is a cost-effective way to refresh or restore masonry surfaces without undergoing a complete overhaul.

8. Environmental Benefits

In today’s world, many property owners are looking for environmentally friendly solutions for their homes and buildings. Staining is an eco-friendly option because it typically requires fewer resources than other methods like painting or replacing masonry materials. Many masonry stains are made from natural or low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) materials, reducing harmful emissions and promoting sustainability.

9. Concealing Damage or Imperfections

If your masonry surfaces have some imperfections, such as cracks, chips, or discoloration, staining can help mask these issues. Stains can blend with the natural tones of the masonry to create a more uniform look, minimizing the appearance of flaws. In many cases, a well-applied stain can help make your masonry look as good as new, without the need for costly repairs.

Conclusion

Changing the color of your masonry with staining is a great way to enhance the visual appeal, durability, and overall value of your property. Whether you want to update the look of your home, restore weathered surfaces, or simply make a statement, masonry staining offers an array of benefits. By improving curb appeal, increasing property value, and providing protection, staining is a smart and affordable option for homeowners and property managers alike.
